Im a professor of Computer Science at the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Goiás - Brazil. My research interests includes artificial intelligence, computer vision and machine learning. I lead a research group, which develops solutions for computer-aided diagnosis (CAD), solutions for satellite imagery and other topics involving artificial intelligence and computer vision.
CNPQ is the acronym of National Research Council (Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa), which is currently called the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. It is a public agency that aims to encourage research in Brazil.
